Force of Will Price

Updated 2026-10-09

Force of Will from Alliances is the original printing of Legacy's most fundamental free spell. This Uncommon from the Alliances set is the authoritative version of the card: the first printing, in the original card frame, with the original art that has defined the card's visual identity since 1996. Alliances was a small expansion with a limited print run relative to modern standards, and the Uncommon slot in that run means original Force of Will copies are genuinely scarce despite the card having been reprinted multiple times since. The card's role in Legacy is so central that every serious blue Legacy deck runs four copies, sustaining consistent competitive demand across decades of metagame evolution. Collectors who prefer original printings pay a consistent premium for clean Alliances copies over any reprint version. Near-mint Alliances Force of Will is one of the most recognized condition-sensitive purchases in Legacy player communities. Track Legacy metagame health as the primary demand driver.
