Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Investors.Cards

Getting Started

What is Investors.Cards? +
Investors.Cards is a market data platform for Trading Card Games — think of it as the Bloomberg Terminal for TCGs. We provide real-time pricing, portfolio tracking, price alerts, and market analytics across multiple exchanges.
Which games do you support? +
We currently support 5 exchanges: Pokémon TCG, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece TCG, and Riftbound. More games are on the roadmap.
Is it free to use? +
Yes. Free accounts can browse all market data, search cards, view card details with 7D price charts, track up to 5 cards, and set 1 price alert. Pro and Premium plans unlock more features.
Where does the pricing data come from? +
Prices are aggregated from major TCG marketplaces and updated multiple times daily. All base prices reflect Near Mint (NM) condition unless otherwise noted.

Portfolio & Tracking

How do I add cards to my portfolio? +
Use the search bar on desktop or tap the 🔍 Search icon in the mobile bottom bar. Find any card, click on it to view the detail page, then click 'Add to Portfolio.' The card will appear in your Holdings tab with live price tracking.
What's the difference between Holdings and Watchlist? +
Holdings are cards you own and want to track the value of. Watchlist (Pro feature) is for cards you're interested in buying — track their price movement before you commit.
How many cards can I track? +
Free: 5 cards. Pro: unlimited. Premium: unlimited. Your progress bar on the Portfolio page shows how many slots you've used.
Can I export my portfolio? +
Yes — Pro and Premium subscribers can click the '↓ CSV' button on the Portfolio page to download their full portfolio as a spreadsheet with card names, sets, printings, prices, and 7-day changes.
Do different printings track separately? +
Yes. A 1st Edition Holo Charizard and an Unlimited Charizard are fundamentally different assets with different prices. Each printing is tracked as its own line item in your portfolio with its specific market price.

Pricing & Data

How often are prices updated? +
Prices are refreshed multiple times daily. The green dot in the top-right corner indicates a live connection. If data is stale, a banner will appear at the top of the page.
What does NM mean? +
NM stands for Near Mint — the standard condition for TCG pricing. Near Mint cards have minimal wear and are the baseline for market prices. Other conditions (LP, MP, HP, DMG) are typically discounted from the NM price.
Why don't I see a specific card? +
If a card isn't appearing in search, it may be too new (not yet cataloged), extremely obscure, or from a game we don't yet support. We're continuously expanding coverage.
What do the 7D and 30D percentages mean? +
7D shows the price change over the last 7 days. 30D shows the change over 30 days. Green (▲) means the price went up; red (▼) means it went down. These help you spot trending cards and market movements.
