Seizan, Perverter of Truth Price

Updated 2026-08-29

Seizan, Perverter of Truth is a Champions of Kamigawa rare that has built a dedicated Commander following. As a five-mana 7/5 Demon, it forces each player to draw two additional cards at the start of their turn and lose two life, making it a symmetrical engine that benefits decks built to exploit the card draw while managing the life drain. Black group-hug and chaos Commander archetypes prize Seizan as a political tool. Kamigawa original printings are from a period before modern print runs, and Champions of Kamigawa had relatively modest sales compared to later expansions, keeping supply tighter than most players expect. Price has been flat across all measured windows, consistent with a Commander niche staple that has been absorbed into collections without speculative rotation. Collector interest is steady and driven by Commander demand rather than competitive play. Monitor any future Kamigawa-themed supplemental products for reprint exposure.
