Baleful Strix (Borderless) Price

Updated 2026-10-11

Baleful Strix is one of the most iconic creatures in the history of Commander and Legacy play, trading card advantage through its draw-a-card clause and neutralizing attackers through deathtouch on a two-mana flier. The Borderless treatment from Commander: Bloomburrow applies a distinctive alternate art style to a card with dozens of existing printings, giving collectors a visually differentiated version for builds that feature Strix prominently. Price data over the past ninety days shows a steady appreciation with gains distributed proportionally across all three windows and the larger share front-loaded in the earlier portion of the period. That pattern is consistent with a card in a gradual re-rating rather than a momentum spike. Near Mint Borderless copies of frequently-played Commander staples tend to settle at modest premiums over standard versions once initial collector interest normalizes.
