Green Dragon Inn - Homeward Path (Borderless) (Serial Numbered) Price

Updated 2026-10-15

Homeward Path is a Commander format staple, widely played for its ability to return stolen creatures to their owner, a meaningful defensive tool in multiplayer games where theft effects are common. The card has seen consistent demand in Commander circles since its original Planechase printing, with reprints keeping functional copies accessible at lower price points. This Borderless Serial Numbered printing from Commander: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth frames it through the Green Dragon Inn from Tolkien's Shire, giving it thematic and artistic distinction from every prior version. Serial numbered copies of utility Commander staples occupy a distinct collector niche: the card can be reprinted functionally, but this specific serial numbered version cannot. Collectors acquiring it are buying the artwork and scarcity of this exact treatment, not a reprint hedge. Supply is fixed at the original print run. Graded examples in high grades are the relevant comparables at auction for this tier.
