Helm's Deep - Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep (Borderless) Price

Updated 2026-09-12

Helm's Deep, printed as a Borderless version of Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep, is a Commander-exclusive land from the Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle-earth Commander set. The Tolkien framing gives it collector appeal beyond its functional value: Shinka generates red mana and has a combat ability, while the Helm's Deep alternate identity makes this a set piece for players building thematic Tolkien decks. Seven-day and 30-day price action is positive, and the 90-day figure confirms this is a trend rather than noise. Commander set mythics in Borderless treatments are produced in smaller quantities than standard set cards, which tightens supply relative to demand. Tolkien-themed Magic cards occupy a specific collector niche where brand identity reinforces card demand. The price is moving at a pace that suggests steady collector absorption rather than speculative flipping. Any new Lord of the Rings Magic product would likely reinforce demand for this card.
