Fist of Suns Price
MARKET NOTE: FIST OF SUNS
Updated 2026-08-23
Fist of Suns from Fifth Dawn is a five-mana artifact that allows any spell to be cast by paying one mana of each color instead of its printed mana cost. The effect has genuine application in Commander: five-color decks that can meet the color requirement can use Fist of Suns to bypass the generic mana costs on expensive spells, potentially enabling large effects ahead of schedule. Fifth Dawn was released in 2004 and concluded the Mirrodin block, a set that introduced the artifact-centric design philosophy that would recur throughout Magic's history. The 7-day and 30-day readings show identical positive figures while the 90-day confirms the trend extends further back: this is a card in consistent upward movement with no directional confusion across the data. Commander demand for cost-reduction effects in five-color builds has been the primary driver. No Reserved List protection exists, so future reprint risk is a live consideration for any position here.
