Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider Price

Updated 2026-08-14

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider from Kaldheim has posted solid gains over the past month, reflecting durable Commander demand for one of the most oppressive counter-doubling effects in the format. The card doubles all counters placed on permanents you control and halves counters placed on opponents' permanents, a text box that reaches into planeswalker ultimates, poison counters, and loyalty abilities simultaneously. Kaldheim is the primary printing, and Vorinclex carries the additional collector draw of being a Phyrexian Praetor, a character class with a dedicated following from the New Phyrexia era. The thirty-day gain looks organic rather than speculative, consistent with steady Commander deck-building demand. A future Phyrexia-themed set or Commander product featuring the Praetors could accelerate price further from the current base.
