Sphere of Resistance Price

Sphere of Resistance from the Masterpiece Series: Kaladesh Inventions is the premium foil treatment of a pivotal prison card in Legacy and Vintage, distributed as a lottery-style inclusion in Kaladesh booster packs. Masterpiece Series cards have a fixed supply tied to the number of packs opened during the Kaladesh print run, and that supply cannot be augmented by future printings in the same frame. Sphere taxes all spell casting, making it a cornerstone of prison and stax strategies across multiple formats and sustaining consistent competitive demand. The Kaladesh Inventions treatment gives it a visual signature that standard printings cannot match, driving a collector premium above functional value. The 30-day data shows a modest positive drift, consistent with slow accumulation by competitive and Commander players rather than a spike-driven move. This is a core Legacy position with collector overlay that tends to move gradually rather than in sharp bursts. Watch for reprint risk in future premium products as the primary ceiling to monitor.
