Jace, the Living Guildpact (SDCC 2014 Exclusive) Price

Updated 2026-09-23

Jace, the Living Guildpact in its San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive version is one of the most recognized convention-exclusive collectibles in Magic. The SDCC promotional series from 2014 featured the five main Ravnica planeswalkers in distinctive black-border alternate art treatments, distributed in very limited quantities at the convention. These copies were not available through any other retail channel, and supply has only ever declined from the original convention distribution. The SDCC exclusives occupy a category where collectibility is the entire value proposition; gameplay relevance of the underlying card is secondary to the provenance and scarcity of this specific copy. The price line shows strong appreciation on both the weekly and monthly windows, with the 90-day trajectory confirming sustained upward direction. Convention exclusives with confirmed limited supply and recognizable character branding tend to hold and extend their gains through collector buy cycles.
