Seahunter from Nemesis is a Commander staple in Merfolk tribal decks, tutoring any Merfolk from the library directly to the battlefield for five mana at the cost of tapping. As the premier Merfolk tutor in the format, Seahunter has no functional equivalent in its design space, giving the Nemesis copy a structural demand anchor that reprints of similar tutor effects do not directly threaten. Nemesis was a modestly distributed set from the Masques block, and Rare copies in Near Mint condition are not widely available on the secondary market. Price has been completely stable across all measured intervals, consistent with a card in steady equilibrium: the Merfolk tribal Commander player base knows this card exists and acquires it when building decks, but does not generate speculative activity beyond that.
