Retether Price

Updated 2026-09-20

Retether is a Planar Chaos rare notable for its off-color white sorcery that returns enchantments from the graveyard to the battlefield attached to legal permanents. Planar Chaos deliberately shifted colors as a design experiment, making Retether a collectible artifact of that era. At $27.32, the card is flat over the past week and past month but has risen 7.18% over the past ninety days, a volatile pattern where the meaningful move happened earlier and recent prices are consolidating. Commander enchantment recursion strategies have expanded steadily, and Retether's mass-return effect can generate enormous tempo swings in the right shell. Planar Chaos rares have seen renewed collector interest as older non-reserved-list singles from unusual design sets appreciate with broader Magic nostalgia. The 90-day gain suggests genuine demand discovery, and the current flat period may represent accumulation before the next price step.
