Terminate Price

Updated 2026-09-22

Terminate is a two-mana black-red instant that destroys a target creature with no regeneration escape, one of the most efficient removal effects in the game. The Planeshift printing at $26.23 is climbing: 7-day and 30-day gains are both at the same figure, and 90-day movement extends the trajectory further. When 7-day and 30-day deltas match, the most recent price move happened inside the last 7 days and is still live. The Planeshift version carries the original art from 2001 and appeals to collectors seeking the first printing of a removal staple that appears in Modern and Legacy formats. Prior reprints have diluted mass market supply, but the original printing retains a distinct collector position. The matching short-term and medium-term gains suggest a fresh demand event is driving current pricing. Buyers should evaluate quickly, as this level may not persist once the initial wave clears.
