Sima Yi, Wei Field Marshal Price

Updated 2026-09-15

Sima Yi, Wei Field Marshal from Portal Three Kingdoms is a card with genuine collector cachet independent of its gameplay application. Portal Three Kingdoms was a region-limited set released only in certain Asian markets, making English copies exceptionally difficult to source at the time of printing. The set is beloved by vintage collectors who treat its cards as artifacts of Magic's most exotic print era. The 90-day window shows significant depreciation from a prior elevated level, suggesting the card ran up and has since corrected meaningfully. The short-term movement is marginally negative and the 30-day window shows a modest recovery bid forming. Portal Three Kingdoms rares are known for extreme price swings tied to collector cycles and speculation rather than competitive play demand. Supply is genuinely finite. The question for prospective buyers is whether the correction has fully run its course or has further to go.
