Displacer Kitten Price

Updated 2026-08-25

Displacer Kitten from the Prerelease printing is a blue creature that flickers a nonland permanent whenever a noncreature spell is cast by its controller, a trigger engine that creates powerful combo loops with cost-reducers and mana rocks in Commander and that drove competitive Modern and Legacy applications after its release. The card has appreciated consistently across all tracked windows, gaining approximately 1.2 percent over seven days, 2.4 percent over thirty days, and 9.4 percent over ninety days, an incremental but sustained upward trend indicating steady demand absorption. The Prerelease treatment provides a date-stamped collector premium atop the standard edition, with scarcity driven by the limited quantities distributed through prerelease event kits rather than normal retail channels. Near-mint Prerelease copies are genuinely rare compared to standard printings, which reinforces the price premium and supports continued appreciation as players seek the collectible treatment. Current momentum appears durable given the consistent multi-window positive trend.
