Setessan Champion Price

Updated 2026-10-20

Setessan Champion in Promo Pack from Theros Beyond Death is a competitive enchantment-matters creature that saw Standard play during its legality window. The Promo Pack version offers a foil treatment unavailable in the base set, which created initial collector demand from players who wanted the foil version of an already-playable card. Price data shows consistent compression across both the short and medium term, a pattern typical of a card rotating out of active competitive consideration and compressing toward its collector floor. Enchantress-style strategies still appear in Commander and older formats, which provides a structural demand floor, but that floor is lower than where the promo premium was initially priced. Buyers here are betting this version reaches equilibrium among Commander players who want the foil frame rather than among active Standard or Pioneer competitors.
