Updated 2026-09-12

Ayara, First of Locthwain in the Promo Pack treatment from Throne of Eldraine is the alternate foil version distributed through local game store promo programs. The card drains opponents whenever a black creature enters under your control, making it a persistent value engine in aristocrat Commander strategies. Seven-day and 30-day price action are identical, indicating a single repricing event that has held, and the 90-day figure shows the new level is above the prior baseline. Promo Pack supply from the Throne of Eldraine cycle is not being replenished. Ayara sees consistent Commander demand across multiple archetypes because her trigger is broad enough to fire from any black creature, not just one specific strategy. The promo premium over the regular Eldraine print is modest but persistent. Watch for any Commander precon that includes Ayara, which would introduce new supply and weigh on the promo premium.
