Savra, Queen of the Golgari Price

Updated 2026-09-27

Savra, Queen of the Golgari is one of the most thematically recognizable legendary creatures from the original Ravnica: City of Guilds set. She occupies a dual sacrificial role in Golgari (black-green) strategies, triggering life drain when black creatures are sacrificed and forcing opponents to sacrifice when green creatures die. Her interplay with Golgari sacrifice engines makes her a Commander deck centerpiece and a consistent demand driver among players who build around the Golgari identity. Ravnica: City of Guilds is a beloved set from a foundational block in Magic design history, and its legendary creatures carry the nostalgia premium of the original Ravnica era. Supply of the original Ravnica printing is fixed, and the character has appeared in subsequent Ravnica returns, which adds cross-set collector interest. Golgari sacrifice strategies in Commander continue to attract new players, refreshing demand for the original printing.
