Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Price
MARKET NOTE: EMRAKUL, THE AEONS TORN
Updated 2026-07-14
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn from Rise of the Eldrazi is the archetypal game-ending threat and one of the most recognizable cards in Magic history. It is banned in Commander and restricted in environments where it would otherwise be an auto-include, which paradoxically focuses demand on the Legacy and Vintage communities that can actually deploy it, plus the large collector segment drawn to its iconic status. The Rise of the Eldrazi printing is the original and carries the primary collector premium: subsequent Emrakul variants, including the From the Vault and Mystery Booster printings, trade at lower price points and absorb some player demand, leaving this copy increasingly positioned as a display collectible. The 15-mana cost has always been its protection against format-warping ubiquity outside broken cheat-into-play strategies, and that mechanical ceiling is fully understood by the market. Supply is static and collector demand has been consistent.
