Faithless Looting (JP Alternate Art) (Foil Etched) Price

Updated 2026-09-30

Faithless Looting in the Japanese Alternate Art Foil Etched treatment from Strixhaven Mystical Archive is a premium version of one of the most format-defining red cantrips ever printed. The card was banned in Modern for several years and has since been unbanned, and that history has made it a collector focal point rather than a straightforward competitive staple. The Japanese Alternate Art foil-etched treatment carries a significant premium over standard Mystical Archive copies and targets a specific collector audience. The 30-day and 90-day figures both show mild price decline. This likely reflects post-unban normalization as the card returned to competitive supply chains and pricing adjusted from the scarcity premium it held during the ban. The underlying collector demand for premium Looting copies is real, but the current softness suggests the market is still finding a settled price. Watch for competitive Modern results featuring the card to identify where the demand floor is.
