Magus of the Candelabra Price

Magus of the Candelabra is one of Time Spiral's homages to older Magic design, replicating the effect of Candelabra of Tawnos as a creature body. Candelabra of Tawnos is itself a Reserved List card and a key engine in High Tide combo, and the Magus gives non-Reserved-List access to that mana doubling effect. Demand is primarily Commander-driven, particularly in Elfball and high-powered mono-green ramp builds where untapping multiple lands in a single turn enables explosive sequences. This is not a widely recognized staple outside specific archetypes, which keeps the price conversation contained to dedicated combo and ramp players. The 30-day window shows modest appreciation. Time Spiral had low print runs by modern standards, and its rare slots are genuinely scarce compared to sets printed after the distribution model shifted. Supply pressure works quietly in this card's favor.
