Bad Moon Price

Updated 2026-09-02

Bad Moon from the Timeshifted bonus sheet in Time Spiral is the purple-backed timeshifted treatment of the classic black enchantment that gives all black creatures plus one plus one. The Timeshifted purple back and unique frame treatment create a specific collector aesthetic distinct from any other printing of Bad Moon. The card has a home in black-focused creature Commander builds and has historically appeared in Vintage and Legacy black creature aggro lists. The 90-day price decline is meaningful, suggesting sustained selling pressure or diminished collector demand for this printing over that period. Timeshifted cards occupy a collector niche defined almost entirely by the purple-bordered aesthetic, and price movements can reflect shifts in broader collector sentiment for the Time Spiral block rather than changes in gameplay demand. Buyers should watch realized comps for comparable Timeshifted rare cards when assessing valuation in this segment.
