Defense of the Heart Price

Updated 2026-09-03

Defense of the Heart in the Wilds of Eldraine Enchanting Tales series is the premium alternate-art reprint of an enchantment that tutors two creature cards directly onto the battlefield when an opponent controls three or more creatures. The effect is powerful in Commander particularly in green creature strategies, enabling a surprise deployment of two large threats at the end of an opponent's turn. Enchanting Tales provided the most recent and widely distributed reprint of this card, which has applied sustained downward pressure on older printings and on this version as supply entered the market. The 30-day price shows moderate decline and the 90-day window confirms the trend has not stabilized at a floor yet. For players who want the card to play, Enchanting Tales is the accessible entry. For collectors, the older Urza's Legacy printing retains stronger prestige relative to current supply.
