Mega Darkrai ex - 116/084 Price

Updated 2026-10-09

Mega Darkrai ex at collector number 116/084 from ME05: Pitch Black is a Special Illustration Rare from one of Pokemon's modern premium expansions. Special Illustration Rares represent a distinct print tier in contemporary Pokemon sets, using full-art alternate illustration styles that distinguish them from standard pulls and create a dedicated collector following. Darkrai is one of Pokemon's most visually compelling Mythical Pokemon, with strong cultural cachet from its film appearances and fan community, which amplifies collector demand for premium versions beyond what gameplay alone would sustain. ME05: Pitch Black as a set name suggests a theme concentrating on Darkrai's aesthetic identity, making high-rarity Darkrai pulls the natural chase target for buyers seeking the set's flagship cards. Condition is the primary value driver at this tier: near-mint examples suitable for graded submission command a significant premium. Monitor graded population reports and sealed product sell-through to track supply trajectory.
