Land Tax is one of the most powerful card draw engines in white Commander, generating three basic lands per turn whenever the controller has fewer lands than an opponent, a condition trivially met in multiplayer games. The Battlebond printing is a two-player draft set release that gave Land Tax its first widely available printing in decades after years of scarcity on older copies. A 10-percent 90-day gain with a strong 30-day figure reflects sustained Commander demand for a card that addresses white's historical weakness in land and draw consistency. Battlebond is no longer in print, locking this version at whatever copies originally circulated. The mythic rarity designation within Battlebond limited supply further relative to common Battlebond rares. Land Tax has not appeared in a major mass-market set since this Battlebond printing, and future reprint risk is the primary downside consideration. Commander demand is durable and the white player base continues to grow.
