Vampiric Tutor Price

Updated 2026-08-21

Vampiric Tutor is among the most efficient tutors in Magic, a one-mana instant that retrieves any card from your library and places it on top at the cost of two life. The List reprint introduced a high-supply printing that has steadily pressured prices across all versions. At $55.10, the card is down 3.74% over seven days, 12.80% over thirty, and 21.11% over ninety. That consistent decline reflects List supply working through the secondary market without being absorbed. The tutoring effect remains essential in Commander and Vintage, so demand is not the issue; supply overhang is. The List version competes directly with Mirage and Commander anthology copies, and until that inventory clears, the price will continue to drift lower. Buyers looking for a functional copy have better entry points ahead. Collectors seeking the Mirage original should evaluate whether the current spread over The List version justifies capturing that premium now.
