Land Tax is one of the most powerful mana-smoothing effects ever printed, allowing the controller to search for up to three basic lands at the start of each upkeep whenever an opponent controls more lands. In Commander, where land count disparities are common, Land Tax activates reliably and can generate card advantage through hand-sculpting or looting effects. The card has seen multiple premium printings, which means reprint risk is not negligible. Pricing has declined across all measured windows, with the seven-day and thirty-day readings both modestly negative and the ninety-day window showing the steepest loss. That uniform downward trajectory is consistent with a card that has absorbed meaningful new supply. Unless Commander demand accelerates materially to offset that supply expansion, downward pressure is likely to continue at a moderate pace.
