Fleshwrither Price

Updated 2026-09-04

Fleshwrither is a four-mana black creature from Future Sight with a transmute ability that lets the controller discard it to search the library for any card with the same converted mana cost. The identical 30-day and 90-day appreciation suggests a steady, measured upward trajectory without speculative spikes. Future Sight is an older set with a relatively limited print run and has not been reprinted in recent supplemental products, providing structural supply scarcity. Fleshwrither sees Commander play in black tutor packages, particularly in decks that want a creature-based tutor with a unique cost-matching ability. Transmute effects have grown in relevance as Commander power levels rise and tutoring becomes more valued. The consistent appreciation across both time windows suggests collectors and players are accumulating steadily. Without a reprint, the scarcity dynamic driving appreciation appears intact.
