Virtue of Persistence in its Game Day promo treatment is a version of the Wilds of Eldraine enchantment reserved for top-finishing players at local store championship events. The scarcity here is structural: only event finalists received this specific foil stamp, capping supply far below any standard set printing and making it impossible to expand through reprints of the base card. Virtue of Persistence is a powerful late-game black enchantment that repeatedly generates zombie tokens from dying creatures, earning it a natural Commander slot in token and graveyard strategies. The 30-day window shows meaningful appreciation, with a positive 90-day trend confirming sustained buying interest. Game Day promos occupy a distinct collector tier because supply is fixed at the original event footprint. Commander demand provides a real functional floor beneath the promo premium. This is a card with two independent demand sources: genuine gameplay utility and event-promo scarcity, a combination that has historically supported durable secondary market appreciation.
