Backlash from Invasion is an instant that untaps target creature and has it deal damage equal to its power to its controller. In game terms this is targeted removal that scales with the size of the threat and also punishes the attacking player. The effect is most powerful against enormous creatures with high power, making it relevant in Commander metagames with large green creature threats. Invasion-era uncommons with niche Commander applications sit at a price floor set by genuine scarcity rather than active demand: the set has not been reprinted and existing copies are the only supply. Price movement across all tracked windows is flat, which reflects a market in equilibrium with thin volume. Collectors acquiring a playset or competitive players wanting a copy for cube can typically locate one, but the supply is not deep. A new printing in a Commander precon or Commander Masters product would be the main risk event.
