Dirtcowl Wurm Price

Updated 2026-10-04

Dirtcowl Wurm from Prerelease Cards is a green creature that grows each time an opponent plays a land, printed as a prerelease promo for the Tempest block era. Prerelease promos were distributed in limited quantities to participating players before the set's retail release and were not available through standard distribution. The 30-day and 90-day price windows both show notable appreciation, with the longer window reflecting the more substantial move. That trajectory is consistent with a scarce promo that is seeing increased collector attention as near-mint copies become harder to find. The card's gameplay relevance in modern formats is limited, but it fits landfall-adjacent Commander builds as a curiosity. Demand is primarily from set-era collectors and promo completionists. The supply of near-mint prerelease copies from the Tempest era is genuinely thin. The appreciation trend reflects scarcity rather than competitive demand.
