Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose Price

Updated 2026-09-29

Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose in its Secret Lair treatment holds a specific position in the Commander market. As a vampire that doubles life loss triggers and enables drain-based combo lines in black and black-white decks, Vito is one of the more-played mono-black Commanders and an auto-include in life-drain strategies. The Secret Lair frame is the only version available with this specific art, and Secret Lair print runs are finite. Thirty-day and ninety-day pricing both show steady appreciation, consistent with a card being continuously discovered by Commander players entering the drain-life archetype. Supply is fixed at the original Secret Lair drop quantity. Genuine Commander demand paired with a limited print run in this specific art supports the current trajectory. The primary reprint risk is a future Secret Lair product introducing a new art treatment, which would add competing supply and dilute the collector premium on this version.
