Demonic Tutor Price

Demonic Tutor from Summer Magic is one of the most desirable collector's copies of this format-defining tutor effect. Summer Magic (also known as Edgar) was a 1994 print run recalled shortly after production due to color errors, meaning only a small fraction of the print run escaped to the secondary market. An Uncommon slot in Summer Magic is extraordinarily rare by modern comparison: the set's tiny survival rate means any Summer Magic Uncommon is a scarce collector artifact regardless of the card's format legality. Demonic Tutor specifically is one of the most powerful tutors in Magic's history, restricted in Vintage and a Commander staple, which means collector demand compounds on top of player demand for the effect itself. Condition determines everything at this price point: near-mint copies command a premium that separates them sharply from played examples.
