Tsunami from Summer Magic is a piece of one of the rarest print runs in Magic's history. Summer Magic, also called Edgar, was a corrected version of Revised Edition that was recalled and largely destroyed after errors were discovered, leaving only a small quantity in collector circulation. The scarcity of Summer Magic cards is extreme: the estimated surviving print run is a fraction of any other set, making virtually any card from this printing a significant collector item regardless of individual card power. Tsunami itself destroys all islands, a situational effect with limited modern competitive application. The value is entirely attributable to Summer Magic provenance, not playability. Price data shows no movement in the measured windows, consistent with thin-float positions where the last known sale anchors the price. This is a historical rarity for advanced Magic collectors. Authentication against standard Revised copies requires careful examination.
