Tergrid, God of Fright (Showcase) Price

Updated 2026-09-18

Tergrid, God of Fright in the Showcase treatment from Kaldheim has shown strong appreciation over the past 30 days, with the medium-term move outpacing both the short and longer windows. Tergrid is a Commander format powerhouse in discard and sacrifice strategies, forcing opponents to yield permanents or cards whenever they are made to sacrifice or discard. The Showcase treatment reproduces the Norse-mythology-inspired alternate art frame from Kaldheim, which carries consistent collector demand from players who prefer that aesthetic over the standard frame version. The 30-day move suggests a recent catalyst, possibly renewed metagame interest in discard and control archetypes or reduced supply from holders who have absorbed earlier price appreciation. Showcase versions of Commander-relevant Legendary creatures with this kind of active buying pattern typically hold near their new price level unless supply surges, which is unlikely for an older set.
