Honor the Fallen from Mercadian Masques is a one-mana white instant that exiles all creature cards from all graveyards and causes each player to gain one life for each creature card removed. The effect combines graveyard hate with life gain in a single white instant at extremely efficient mana cost, making it an underplayed but powerful tool in formats where graveyard interaction is valued. Mercadian Masques was a large set released in 1999, but Honor the Fallen at rare has seen limited reprint history relative to its potential utility. All price windows are flat, consistent with equilibrium pricing on a niche card at the current level. Commander players who want white graveyard exile that also generates life provide a demand base. No Reserved List protection exists, so a reprint in a supplemental product supporting white graveyard hate strategies is possible.
