Sakashima's Student Price

Updated 2026-10-05

Sakashima's Student from The List Reprints is a blue Ninja with ninjutsu that enters as a copy of any creature on the battlefield. That combination of evasive combat access and copying effect makes it a centerpiece of Ninja tribal Commander decks, and it has found fringe Modern applications in tempo strategies. The List version gives collectors and budget players access to a card originally found only in Betrayers of Kamigawa and limited reprint slots. Thirty-day and ninety-day price data show a consistent decline in both windows, at nearly identical rates. The softening likely reflects recent reprint availability normalizing supply of a once-scarce Ninja staple. The competitive Commander floor remains real for Ninja tribal builds, but the current downward trend suggests a continued drift toward a lower equilibrium. Wait for stabilization before positioning.
